While Chalk Bluff has been an enjoyable family retreat for decades, the Murphy family is proud to be the new owners with an all family staff ready to give you the best Chalk Bluff experience possible. 

 

 

This rustic resort sits on the banks of the gorgeous Nueces River in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Our accommodations offer a little bit of everything for the nature lover. We have 60 furnished cabins if you want comfort. For those who like to rough it, we have more than 100 camp sites varying from primitive to water and electric hook ups. Bringing your home on wheels? We have 20 full hook up sites for your RV alongside dry camp as well. Our pavilion works as a perfect focal point for group events. With plenty of land surrounding it, reception tents are easily erected.

• Overnight extra person fees on cabins, campsites, and RV's will be $10 per person.

1. Check in: 4pm; Check Out 11am; Quiet time 11:00PM.
2. No glass bottles. No littering! Please place all trash in the dumpsters.
3. Campsites and Cabins will be checked for cleanliness upon check out. Failure to clean up after yourself will result in a min. $100 charge.
4. Do not rearrange cabin furniture or beds. $100 fee will apply
5. Damaged (defaced/graffitied minimum $200 fee) or stolen Chalk Bluff Property will result in replacement fee (cabins are inventoried).
6. No DJ equipment or large speakers. No loud or vulgar music or language. Your neighbors should not be able to hear your music. Keep bass to a minimum.
7. Do NOT harass animals. Only feed them food provided in the store.
8. Pets are welcome on a leash once all pet fees are paid. NO aggressive dogs allowed. No dogs permitted near animal pens.
9. River entry is at your own risk. NO lifeguards on duty at any time.
10. Do not damage live trees. No OAK permitted in park as it carries disease.
11. Do NOT drive in the river bed! It is against state law and we will call the Game Wardens.
12. No ATV, UTV, dirt bikes or off road vehicles permitted. Golf Carts are ok.
13. Absolutely NO FIREWORKS **
14. No Smoking of any kind in or near any building (cabin, restroom, etc.)
15. No tents permitted at Cabins. A $100 charge per night charged to your credit card. 2 tents permitted at campsites, $25 will be charged for add’l tents.
16. No generators permitted in tent sites. No trailers/RVs in Pecan Bottom.
17. No firearms or weapons of any kind. Including BB and Airsoft guns.
18. Stay on the road. WE WILL NOT PULL YOU OUT, CALL A WRECKER!
19. STAY OFF JUMP PILLOWS WHEN STAFF IS NOT PRESENT!

Failure to check out at 11:00AM will result in an additional night’s charge.
