While Chalk Bluff has been an enjoyable family retreat for decades, the Murphy family is proud to be the new owners with an all family staff ready to give you the best Chalk Bluff experience possible.
We are located 15 minutes outside of Uvalde TX alongside the Nueces River. We have 60 furnished cabins, over 100 tent campsites, 21 full service RV sites and a large covered pavilion for receptions, conventions, dances or any need you may have! We are open year round for business.
This rustic resort sits on the banks of the gorgeous Nueces River in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Our accommodations offer a little bit of everything for the nature lover. We have 60 furnished cabins if you want comfort. For those who like to rough it, we have more than 100 camp sites varying from primitive to water and electric hook ups. Bringing your home on wheels? We have 20 full hook up sites for your RV alongside dry camp as well. Our pavilion works as a perfect focal point for group events. With plenty of land surrounding it, reception tents are easily erected.
We have a small grocery and souvenir store onsite. We offer all of your tube and kayak rental needs. We are the perfect country wedding venue and have an on staff wedding and event planner for your perfect country wedding or event.
